Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal celebrated World Soil Day with the theme “Healthy Soils for Healthy Cities” at Z.P. High School, Jamandlapalli, Mahabubabad Mandal, Mahabubabad districton 5th December. During the programme, Smt. L. Suhasini, SMS (Horticulture), spoke about soil health management practices, minimal use of pesticides and fungicides in Agriculture, water conservation techniques, avoiding plastic usage, and the promotion of organic cultivation. She also explained the importance of soil testing and demonstrated the soil testing procedure to farmers from Kambalapalli village. A total of 60 students from classes 7, 8, and 9, along with 22 farmers, the Headmaster, teaching staff of the high school, and the YP (Cotton Project) participated in the programme.
