KVK Bellampali Celebration of Birth Anniversary (Jayanthi) of "Smt. Savitribai Phule, W/o Mahatma Jyotiba Phule as “Women Teacher’s Day” on 3rd January, 2026

The birth anniversary (Jayanthi) of the eminent social reformer and pioneer of women’s education, Smt. Savitribai Phule, was observed on 3rd January, 2026 at KVK, Bellampalli. Dr. M. Prasuna, Programme Coordinator, garlanded the portrait of Smt. Savitribai Phule and paid homage by remembering her outstanding contributions towards women’s education, social equality and empowerment. The significance of her role as India’s first woman teacher. The event was attended by all teaching staff, non-teaching staff, outsourcing staff, and contractual labourers, who offered floral tributes to the great reformer. The programme was conducted in a solemn and respectful manner, reflecting the deep admiration and gratitude of the KVK community towards Smt. Savitribai Phule.
