Vanamahotsavam 2025, a vibrant celebration of greenery and environmental responsibility was organized at Botanical Garden, PJTAU! The event was graced and inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy Garu, who officially launched #Vanamahotsavam 2025, alongside Smt. Konda Surekha Garu, Hon’ble Minister for Environment and Forests, Government of Telangana and Sri. T. Prakash Goud, MLA. With the participation of Prof. Aldas Janaiah Garu, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, along with university officers, staff, and enthusiastic students – the campus came alive with the joy of planting and purpose. PJTAU is on its way to becoming a lush green campus, serving as a vibrant home for rare and native plant species. The university aims towards establishing a gene bank of local varieties of wild fruits and flowers, for promoting #sustainable agro-ecological practices for future generations.
