Telangana Rythu Vigyan Kendra, Warangal and RAWEP students of Agricultural College, Warangal organized the Rythu Sadassu and Agriculture Exhibition on 17.03.2026 at Kanthatmakur village of Nadi Kuda mandal of Hanumakonda district. Smt. Chahat Bajpai,IAS, District Collector and Magistrate, Hanumakonda graced the occasion as a chief guest and advised the students to act as a bridge between agricultural scientists and farmers in bringing developed technologies to the farmers' fields. She asked students to stand by farmers by preparing them for the new horizon in agriculture in the coming period and the changing times. She also congratulated them for organizing the conference and not only explaining but also showing modern methods to the farmers. Dr. A Vijaya Bhaskar, Co-ordinator of Telangana Rythu Vigyan Kendra, Warangal,said that in order to get the highest yield at the lowest cost, farmers should definitely maintain soil health, not to use fertilizers in excess, use green manure crops, think about organic farming and farmers should adopt mechanization in agriculture due to the shortage of laborers. He explained the measures to prevent blast, grain discoloration and stem borer in the current paddy crop, about varieties resistant to wilt disease in Maize and about the precautions to be during post harvest in chilli. He explained the importance of the crop rotation with Pulses,oilseeds,millets , vegetables and suggested that various crops should be sown after seed treatment.
