TRVK Siddipet organised Awareness programme on soil sampling procedure and School Soil Health Programme 31.12.25

Awareness programme on soil sampling procedure and School Soil Health Programme at TSMS, Maddur School, TSMS, Mustyala School, TSWREISHS (Boys), Cherial School, TSMS, Kondapaka School and ZPHS, Kodakandla school by TRVK, Siddipet on 31.12.2025. Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Coordinator & Scientist, TRVK, Siddipet also explained about the importance of soil testing, procedure for soil sampling methods for efficient nutrient management and advantages of soil sampling. Soil testing is an integral part of a soil fertility management program. Effective soil testing provides information on the fertility status of soils within a field that can be used for making fertilizer recommendations, changes in soil fertility over time and even identifying and targeting low fertility soils within larger fields. Informative soil sampling can improve on-farm nutrient efficiency, leading to increased return on investment for fertilizer and decreased risk of off-site nutrient movement. We also explained about the facility of soil testing available at ARS, Tornala along with cost for analysis. In this programme, ADA (Cherial division) Smt. T. Radhika, Mandal Agriculture Officers P. Bogeshwar Swamy (Cherial), B. Ramakrishna (Maddur) and AEOs & ATM (G. Dileep, B. Kranthi kumar, R. Praveen, Aashlesha, Narsimhulu) along with nodal in-charge from each school & 300 Students have participated in the programme.
