One-day Training Programme to tribal farmers at KVK, Bhadradri kothagudem on 08.11.2025

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem organized a one-day Training Programme on Integrated Farming System for Livelihood Security to tribal farmers on 08.11.2025, sponsored by NABARD. During the programme, farmers visited various units of KVK including Goat Unit, Dairy Unit, Fish Unit, Portable Vermicompost Unit, and Fodder Block. Dr. T. Bharath, Programme Coordinator, explained the importance of the Integrated Farming System (IFS) in ensuring year-round income generation for small and marginal farmers. A total of 30 tribal farmers from Ramachandrapuram Village, Julurpad Mandal participated in the programme. Under the Tribal Sub Plan (TSP), Power Tillers, Knapsack Sprayers, and Battery-Operated Sprayers were distributed to these farmers. In this programme, Dr. T. Bharath (Programme Coordinator), B. Shiva (Scientist, Horticulture), Sk. Gouse (Senior AEO, Julurpad), and the participating farmers took part actively.
