Training Programme on Pest and Disease Management in Commercial Crops on 22.10.2025 by KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted a training programme on pest and disease management in commercial crops at Ramachandrapuram village Julurupadu mandal on 22.10.2025. In this programme Dr. T. Bharath, Programme Coordinator briefed about judicious application of fertilizers at different stages of crops and also stressed on use of neem oil and sticky traps in chilli. Dr. N. Hema Sarath Chandra, SMS (Extension) explained about KVK activities taken up in the district. B. Shiva, SMS (Horticulture) explained about pest and disease management in chilli crop. Later on, visited cotton, chilli at Ramachandrapuram village Julurupadu mandal and paddy fields at Annarupadu village, Julurupadu mandal. In this programme Sri Deepak, agricultural officer, Julurupadu and Sri Gouse, AEO and Smt Bhanu, AEO and 65 framers participated and interacted with the farmers.
