The Celebrations and Cultural Club of Agricultural College, Warangal celebrated Traditional Day on 25th October, 2025, at the college campus on the eve of International Kalakarula Day. The event was planned with an aim to reflect and promote India’s rich cultural heritage and traditions among students and nurture appreciation of our roots. The special day allows students to express pride in their heritage by wearing traditional attire and participating in cultural activities. It’s a day where students and faculty come together to honor and showcase the diverse traditions, attire, and customs of different regions. Traditional Day also brings joy, color, and a sense of belonging to the college campus. On the occasion, the students and staff members came dressed in their respective traditional attires, showcasing the diversity and cultural vibrancy of our nation. The entire campus was filled with festive enthusiasm and colorful decorations reflecting various cultural themes. The programme commenced with a formal welcome address, followed by a series of cultural performances including traditional dances, songs, and a fashion show depicting the traditional wear of different states. The performances highlighted the essence of unity in diversity and the importance of preserving our cultural roots. Dr. V. Ravinder Naik, Associate Dean of the college, attended the event along with other senior faculty. In his address, the Associate Dean appreciated the efforts of the Celebrations and Cultural Club for organizing such a vibrant event and encouraged students to value and uphold cultural traditions while embracing modernity. On the occasion, he also remembered that, the day not only strengthens cultural identity but also reminds us that traditions are bridges connecting our past, present, and future. The event was successfully coordinated by the student members of the Celebrations and Cultural Club under the guidance of the faculty in-charge. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and group photographs capturing the joyful moments. Overall, the Traditional Day celebration served as a meaningful platform for students to express their cultural identity, foster mutual respect, and strengthen the spirit of togetherness within the college community.
