RYTHU SADASSU & AGRICULTURAL EXIHIBITION

The Telangana Rythu Vigyan Kendra, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri and RAWEP students of College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad jointly organized Rythu Sadassu and Agricultural Exhibition at Chandupatla Village, Bhuvanagiri Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District on 19.9.2025 as part of Rural Agricultural Work Experience Programme (RAWEP) 2025-2026 of final year B.Sc. (Ag) students of College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. Dr.M.Govardhan, Associate Dean, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar has graced the occasion as chief guest. The District Agricultural Officer, Sri. P.V. Ramana Reddy, District Forest Officer, Smt I.Padmaja Rani, Vigilance Officer, DRDO, Sri. M. Upender Reddy participated as Guest of Honours. RAWEP students displayed models on different themes viz., IFS, IPM, Organic farming, Value addition in millets, pulses, cereals and oil seeds, Vermi compost, Hydroponics, Paired row cultivation in maize, Micro irrigation methods etc. Further, the Managing Executives of M/s IFFCO, Coromandel Fertilizers, RCS fertilizers, pesticides and seeds, Nyasta, John Deere and Palle Srujana have arranged different stalls to showcase their products and machinery for the benefit of farmers. Some of the Progressive farmers viz., Sri.SiddhaReddy, Kanchi Mallaiah, Rekala Srinivas, Yasheel Goud, Venkat Reddy etc., have shared their experiences in farming. Active participation in all agricultural practices and the cooperation rendered by their host farmers. Dr.D.Sreelatha, Coordinator, TRVK and Dr. B. Anil Kumar, Principal Scientist, TRVK Created awareness on different management aspects of rice and cotton. To the farmers . Nearly 150 farmers, 48 RAWEP students from 9 villages and 50 delegates from various organizations have participated in the programme.
