The programme began with the sharing of experiences by progressive farmer Smt. E. Vani, who spoke about her success in sericulture as a profitable enterprise. This was followed by technical sessions from Dr. P. Harikanth, Scientist (Horticulture), and Dr. K. Maounika, Scientist (Plant Pathology), FRS, Sangareddy, who discussed good management practices in mango cultivation. Subsequently Dr. R. Purushotham, Assistant Professor, Department of Poultry Science, College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar, highlighted important poultry management practices. During the interaction session, Dr. T. Kiran Babu, Scientist (Plant Pathology), emphasized effective management of stem borer through Integrated Pest Management (IPM). The programme was presided over by Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Principal Scientist (Agricultural Extension) and Coordinator, Electronic Wing. Officials from the Directorate of Agriculture and other agriculture and allied departments participated in the event. Around 40,000 farmers from 1,582 Rythu Vedikas across the state attended the programme
