Rythu Nestham Live video conference Programme (Episode-75 Date: 11.11.2025)

Rythu Nestham Live video conferencing of 75th episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio at ARI, Rajendranagar on 11-11-2025 from 10 AM to 11-40 AM The programme started with the presentation of Dr.R.Uma Reddy Assoc. Director of Research, CTZ, stressed upon the importance of crop residue management, to gain yield stability and sustainability in soil productivity. Later Dr. Suchithra PS, FRS, SKLTHU, explained the importance of Mango orchards pruning and training for good harvest in ensuing summer, Dr.Srinivas, Sr. Scientist IIMR shared about the resilient nature of minor millets in changing climate and their nutritional values in balanced diet and their profitability to farmers. During the question answer session Dr. Rajinikanth Principal Scientist and Head AINP on Vertebrate Pest Management and Dr. Rajender Scientist Plant Pathology, IBT interacted with the farmers in question and answer session. The programme was presided by Dr. M.Sreenivas Coordinator, Electronic wing, Officials from Department of Agriculture, Directorate of Agriculture and officials of line departments and about 30,000 farmers from 1578 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
