Rythu Nestham Live video conference Program (Episode-71 Date: 14-10-2025)

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing of 71st episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio at ARI, Rajendranagar on 14-10-2025 from 10 AM to 11-00 AM. The programme started with the talk on Salient features of groundnut varieties suitable for ensuing rabi season by Dr. Sreedhar PS, Oil seeds. Sri. Tummala Nageshwara rao, Hob’le minister of Agriculture, Telangana State. Addressed the gathering and distributed groundnut seed. Followed by Dr.Saiddaiaya, Scientist (Plant Breeding), RARS Palem who gave a detailed description of groundnut varieties and management practices to be taken up. Prof. Adas Janaiah Hob’le Vice Chancellor, PJTAU addressed the farmers gathered online and stated that the farmers may utilize the opportunity created by this platform and get clarified all their technical concerns from the Scientist attending. Later Dr.T.Kiran Babu Scientist, Plant Pathology, Rice section and Dr. O.Shaila Scientist Entomology, KVK Palem interacted with the Farmers of the State in question answer session. Dr.B.Gopi , Director of Agriculture , Govt.of Telangana , Dr. M.Balram, Director of Research, PJTAU, Dr. M.Yakadri, Director of Extension, PJTAU graced the occasion. The programme was attended by Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Principal Scientist [Extn] & Coordinator, Electronic Wing along with Team, Officials from Department of Agriculture, Directorate of Agriculture and officials of line departments and about 45,000 farmers from 1578 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
