Rythu Nestham Live video conference Program (Episode-61 Date: 08.07.2025)

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing of 61st episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio at ARI, Rajendranagar on 08-07-2025 from 10 AM to 11.45 AM. The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. D. Raji Reddy. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SKLTGHU as Chief Guest of the programme. The programme started with an extempore presentation by Dr. T.Prabhakar Reddy, Associate Professor, Dept. of Soil Science, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, on HDPS Cotton Cultivation and precautions to be taken at establishment stage. Dr.B.N.Rao, Consultant to the Govt. on Oil Palm cultivation explained the farmers about the benefits that can be harnessed through Palm oil Cultivation. Sri.B.Babu JDH, Dept. of Horticulture explained the avenues of integrated horticultural development Systems that can be chosen by the farmers to develop a profitable enterprise. Later Chief Guest of the Programme Dr.D.Raji Reddy, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SKLTGHU, interacted with the Farmers of the State and briefed them about ongoing Research and Extension services rendered by the University in the service of the Farmers. The programme was coordinated by Dr.M.Sreenivasulu, Principal Scientist [Extn] & Coordinator, Electronic Wing. The programme was attended virtually by Officials of Department of Agriculture, Directorate of Agriculture and officials of line departments and about 41000 farmers from 1578 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
