Rythu Nestham Live video conference Program (Episode-55 Date: 27.05.2025)

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing 55th episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio of PJTAU on 27-5-2025 from 10 AM to 11.50 AM . The programme started with presentation of Dr. C. Sudhakar, ADR, RARS, STZ PJTAU speaking on options of crops suitable for kharif season he advised the farmers to select crops and varieties based on soil fertility of their location. Later in the session Dr.D.Sreelatha, ADR, RARS, NTZ PJTAU announced the early entry of monsoon in to the country as good news for early planning of kharif crops, she briefed about high yielding varieties and newly released varieties from northern telanagana zone and their seed availability. Dr. Uma Reddy, ADR, RARS, Warangal urged the farmers to focus on good management practices rather than rushing after seed materials. The programme was presided by Dr.M.Sreenivasulu, Principal Scientist [Extn] & Coordinator, Electronic Wing. The programme was attended virtually by Officials of Department of Agriculture from Directorate of Agriculture and officials of line departments and about 16,000 farmers from 566 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
