Rythu Nestham Live video conference Program (Episode-54 Date: 20.05.2025)

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing 54th episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio of PJTAU on 20-5-2025 from 10 AM to 11.50 AM . The programme started with presentation of Dr. Ch.Dhamodhar Raju, Principal Scientist [Rice], ARI, PJTAU speaking on options of Rice cultivation for ensuing Kharif , urged the farmers to make crop planning based on the resources available ; followed by Dr.G.Veeranna, Principal Scientist[Cotton] briefed the farmers with good management practices for higher yields in Cotton. Later in the session Dr. D.Badru, Principal Scientist (Plant Breeding), Maize Research Station, Rajendranagar explained the package of practices to be adopted in Maize and Jowar cultivation. Dr.K.Rukhmini Devi Principal Scientist [Pulses] who joined virtually from ARS Madhira spoke on varieties suitable for Telangana in Redgram, Greengram and Black gram. The programme was presided by Dr.M.Sreenivasulu, Principal Scientist [Extn] & Coordinator, Electronic Wing. The programme was attended virtually by Officials of Department of Agriculture from Directorate of Agriculture and officials of line departments and about 16,000 farmers from 566 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
