Promotion of Backyard Poultry under Tribal Sub Plan at Bhadradri Kothagudem on 03.11.2025.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Bhadradri Kothagudem organized a programme on the promotion of backyard poultry and distribution of 300 Sonali poultry birds (35 days old) under the Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) on 03.11.2025 at Nallabanda Bodu village and Julurupadu mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem district. During the programme, Dr. T. Bharath, Programme Coordinator, briefed the participants on the importance of backyard poultry for employment generation and nutritional security among tribal farmers. He also explained various KVK activities and encouraged farmers to utilize KVK services for accessing quality seed material and adopting cost-saving technologies in different crops. Sri B. Shiva, SMS (Horticulture) & TSP In-charge, along with the local Agricultural Extension Officer (AEO), coordinated the event. A total of 35 women farmers and farm women actively participated in the programme.
