Prof. Kothapalli Jayashankar Vardhanthi on 21.06.2025 at Agricultural College, Adilabad

Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar’s 14th Death Anniversary was commemorated on 21.06.2025 at Agricultural College, Adilabad. At the outset, Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Associate Dean garlanded and paid floral tributes to the Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar’s portrait. Later the teaching, non-teaching staff and students offered floral tributes. Later Dr.Sreedhar Chauhan, Associate Dean addressed the gathering that highlighted the about tireless champion’s fight towards the formation of separate Telangana State till his last breath. In this programme, Dr. D. Kumara Swamy, Asst. Professor (AECO) briefed about Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar’s education, various positions held apart from the commitment and selfless efforts towards achieving separate Telangana State. He also emphasised about the developments brought after formation Telangana state, with special regards to employment opportunities and improvement in irrigation facilities. The Teaching staff Dr. B. Rajeswari, Professor (Pl. Path.), Dr. G. Anitha, Assoc. Professor (Ento.) and Dr. M. Suresh, Asst. Professor (SSAC) in their address to students focussed on the need of work hard and to follow the guidelines of Professor Jayashankar to bring laurels by their successful achievements to the Agricultural institute named after the legend, Sri Professor Jayashankar. The programme was ended with the vote of thanks presented by Dr. D. Kumara Swamy, Asst. Professor (AECO).
