The Centre for Human Resource Development (C-HRD) has organised one day sensitization programme on “Cyber Security in Agriculture and Allied Sectors – Safeguarding Digital Progress”. The programme was organized on Saturday i.e. 29.11.2025 at Seminar Hall, EEI, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. The is the first Self Funded programme that the C-HRD has organised. Almost 60 participants from PJTAU, VIKASA Foundation, P.V.Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University, Director of Agriculture departments, Rice Research Unit, ARI, Rajendranagar (PJTAU) have participated in this. Dr. G.E. Ch Vidya Sagar, Registrar, PJTAU was the chief Guest invited for the programme. Dr. G.E. Ch Vidya Sagar, Registrar, PJTAU congratulated C-HRD for organising a programme on such a relevant area and said that the University is committed to keep up with the demand and needs of the staff members and the wide spectra of the farming community. The first speaker was Dr. Anil Rachamalla, he is the Founder and CEO of End Now Foundation. He talked about Social Engineering – Cyber Crimes and Digital Intelligence. He briefed about the ways in which internet users can be tricked and manipulated. He educated the participants about the various online free resources which can be used to tackle fraudulent claims. The second speaker was Sri. Sai Shiva Reddy Gatla, he is a Project Engineer from C-DAC, Hyderabad. He covered the scope of Internet utility right from its origin and to the future prospects and its advent role in present day agriculture. The third speaker was Sri. B. Leela Krishna, Founder & CEO, Cyber Privilege Pvt. Ltd. His area of expertise was on Social Engineering Crimes & Digital Intelligence. He interacted with the participants and cleared their doubts and cleared away the many apprehensions that most people believe and he directed them towards tools that are to be adopted for the day to day sensitive information to be protected and safe guarded. The last speaker was Sri. Santhosh Babu Battar, he is the Associate Director, Enterprise Security Architecture; Novartis Health Care India, Hyderabad. He topic was on The Gen AI Frontier: Securing the Agri-Stack -Deepflakes, Polymorphic Malware & Future of Defence. He introduced these niche areas of IoT and took the attention of the audience towards equipping themselves for the next gen AI. After the fourth speaker, the participants were given the participation certificates and the programme was concluded by a formal vote of thanks by sri. K. Koteshwar, the coordinator for the programme.
