THE MONITORING VISIT BY SHRI D. PRASANNA KUMAR, SENIOR CONSULTANT (NABARD), WATERSHED DEVELOPMENT FUND UNDER THE IFS NON-WATERSHED PROJECT AT THE KRISHI VIGYAN KENDRA, BHADRADRI KOTHAGUDEM

The monitoring visit was undertaken by Shri D. Prasanna Kumar, Senior Consultant(NABARD), Watershed Development Fund to review the progress of activities under the IFS (Integrated Farming System) Non-watershed project, assess implementation at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem verify records, and provide technical guidance for further strengthening of project outcomes. He further stated that the project interventions under the IFS Non-watershed model at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem are progressing satisfactorily. Farmers are actively participating, and visible improvements in cropping intensity, livestock integration, and income diversification were observed. With continued technical backstopping and improved documentation, the project has strong potential to serve as a replicable model for sustainable farming systems in the region.
