MLC SRI TAKKALLAPELLY RAVINDER RAO VISIT TO KVK, MALYAL ON 16.07.2025

Hon’ble Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Sri Takkallapelly Ravinder Rao of old Warangal district visited the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Malyal on 16.07.2025. The visit aimed at understanding the ongoing agricultural activities, infrastructure, and role of the KVK in supporting the local farming community. The Hon’ble MLC interacted with the KVK staff and conducted a comprehensive review of the institution's functioning, infrastructure, staff structure, and its outreach initiatives for the benefit of farmers in the region. He was briefed on the staff strength, their roles and responsibilities, and how they contribute to the effective implementation of various agricultural programmes. B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (Crop Production) briefed the objectives of the KVK, which include: Dissemination of latest agricultural technologies to farmers by conducting on-farm trials and demonstrations and providing location-specific solutions to farming problems. Enhancing the skill set of rural youth and women through trainings. Sri Takkallapelly Ravinder Rao appreciated the efforts of the KVK in uplifting the rural agrarian economy. He acknowledged the critical role of KVKs in improving the livelihood of farmers through scientific interventions, training, and field support.
