Mahila Kisan Diwas" at agricultural college, Warangal on 15.10.2025.

The Village Adoption Committee of Agricultural College, Warangal, organized a programme on “International Mahila Kisan Diwas” on 15th October, 2025 at the adopted village, Pulukurthi. The event was attended by the village adoption committee members and Agricultural Extension Officer. A total of 25 women farmers from the village participated in the programme. During the event, the women farmers were felicitated in recognition of their valuable contributions to agriculture and rural development. The village adoption members interacted with the participants and delivered talks on kitchen gardening, organic farming, and the role and importance of women farmers in agriculture. The discussions emphasized the need for sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices to ensure better soil health, nutritional security, and environmental protection. The programme concluded with an interactive session, during which the women farmers shared their experiences and expressed their gratitude for the recognition and guidance provided.
