KVK, Palem conducted a Training programme on Oil Palm orchard management at Rythu vedika, Indrakal village, Nagarkurnool district on 08.08.2025. Training given on Integrated practices like, selection of site, planting, After care, drip irrigation schedule, integrated nutrient, pest and disease management, special practices like Ablation technique and pollinator release, fertigation schedules, bio pesticides application, solar and pheromone traps installation for Rhinoceros beetle and Red palm weevil, inter-cropping systems and post-harvest management to the farmers by SMS(Hort.). Sri Jagan, HO Explained about Mission for edible oil project (oil palm) subsidy pattern and benefits to the farmers. Sri Venkateswarlu, DHSO, Nagar kurnool explained about NHB scheme for new area expansion of Horticultural crops and subsidy patterns to the farmers. In this training Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem, Sri. Venkateswarlu, DHSO, K. Jagan, Horticulture officer, Nagarkurnool, Sri. Sandeep, AO, Tadoor, Srikanth, AEO, Indrakal, CH. Malleshwaro rao (DGM plantations), Phani kumar(Manager), V.Rakesh(Zonal Manager), Shiva Bhargav (Area Manager), And Cluster officers of Pre Unique oil palm company Pvt. Ltd. & 42 farmers were participated.
