KVK, Palem Organized a Pre Kharif Awareness Campaign on HDPS/CS in cotton under special project at KVK, Palem on 12.05.2025. Dr. B. Rajshekar, SMS (Extension), KVK, Palem highlighted the importance of High-Density Planting system/CS in cotton which is highly suitable to lighter soils under rainfed conditions. Explained how HDPS is advantageous over the normal planting systems. Mr. M. Rajesh, YP-I briefed about implementation procedure of HDPS cotton under KVK, Palem and suitable hybrids and ideal characters of a hybrid under HDPS technology. In this programme Dr. B. Rajshekar, SMS (Extension), KVK, Palem, Harish, PushpaLatha, Y. Sultan YP I, KVK, Palem, and 34 farmers were participated.
