KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem scientists visited various farmers’ fields at Surampalem Village and Mulakalapally Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 21.02.2026

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem scientists visited various farmers’ fields on 21.02.2026 to monitor on-farm testing and demonstrations. In this programme Dr. T. Bharath, Programme Coordinator, Dr. N. Hema Sarat Chandra, SMS (Extension), Mr. B. Shiva, SMS (Horticulture) were participated and they observed the promotion of groundnut variety Vasista, rice followed by sunhemp cultivation under zero tillage, maize cultivation under male–female seed production, the performance of biofortified rice variety DRR-48, and the minikit Kampasagar rice variety at Surampalem Village and Mulakalapally Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District. Later, they visited quality seed paddy WGL-44 (Siddhi) fields in Surampalem village, where farmers are cultivating the crop in about 400 acres under the QSEV flagship programme.
