Visit of Sri Jitesh V Patil, IAS, Collector & District Magistrate, Bhadradri Kothagudem – 28.10.2025

Sri Jitesh V Patil, Collector & District Magistrate, Bhadradri Kothagudem visited Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Bhadradri Kothagudem on 28th October 2025. During the visit, he inspected various demonstration units under the Integrated Farming System (IFS) including goat rearing, dairy, fishery and fodder units. He also visited the Soil Testing Laboratory, Millet Processing Units and interacted with scientists regarding the utilization of soil testing and millet processing instruments. Later, the Collector attended a training programme for tribal farmers, where he distributed tarpaulins, battery sprayers and knapsack sprayers to beneficiaries from Pubelly village, Yellandu Mandal. He assured necessary support for developmental activities such as the approach road to KVK and improvement of demonstration units. He also visited paddy, greengram, and redgram seed production plots and commended the efforts of KVK scientists in promoting improved agricultural practices and enhancing farmers’ income. Sri Jitesh V Patil, appreciated the ongoing activities and projects of KVK and their impact on the farming community.
