KVK bhadradri Kothagudem organizesd a programme on “Livelihood Security through Integrated Farming System” on 03.12.2025.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted a one-day training-cum-exposure programme on “Livelihood Security through Integrated Farming System” under the IFS–NABARD Project. Dr. T. Bharath, Programme Coordinator explained the various components of the Integrated Farming System (IFS) such as goatry, dairy, fishery and poultry, highlighting their role in ensuring rural livelihood and food security for small and marginal farmers. He also discussed the importance of IFS, effective recycling of farm waste and climate-resilient technologies including natural farming and agroforestry. Later, the trainees visited the Integrated Farming System demonstration unit for practical exposure. In this programme, Dr. T. Bharath (Programme Coordinator), Scientists Dr. N. Hema Sarat Chandra, Sri B. Shiva and 36 trainees participated.
