Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem organized an in-house training programme on Direct Seeded Rice (DSR) technology under the SBI–ICAR–IIRR Project at Kothapally and Mahadevapuram villages of Dummugudem Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 07.02.2026. During the programme, Dr. T. He also recommended crop diversification, suggesting rice followed by pulses such as greengram, black gram, cowpea and oilseeds like groundnut, sunflower and sesame for improving soil health and farmers’ income. Later the scientists visited farmers’ fields, provided suitable field-specific recommendations and distributed Nano Urea bottles to the participating farmers. The programme was attended by Dr. T.
