Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem organized a Groundnut seed distribution programme at Krishi Vigyan Kendra on 08.12.2025 under the Front-Line Demonstration (FLD) of the Vasista variety, supported through the Tribal Sub Plan (TSP). As part of this initiative, a total of 100 kg of quality Groundnut seed was distributed to selected tribal farmers to promote improved crop productivity and adoption of high-yielding varieties in the region. The programme was led by Dr. T. Bharath, Programme Coordinator, who highlighted the importance of demonstrating superior crop varieties at the farmer level to enhance income and resilience. Dr. N. Hema Sarat Chandra and Sri B. Shiva, Scientists from KVK, also participated and interacted with the farmers, explaining best agronomic practices, seed treatment methods, and timely crop management for achieving better yields with the Vasista variety.
