KVK Bhadradri Kothagudem scientists organized various extension and field-based activities across different mandals of Bhadradri Kothagudem district on 31.01.2026

1.Demonstration on Drone Technology:
Demonstrations were conducted on drone spraying of post-emergence herbicides and spreading of granules in direct seeded rice using drones at KVK Farm, Chunchupally Mandal and Morrampalli Banjara Village, Burgampahad Mandals of Bhadradri Kothagudem District.
2.Awareness Programme on Vertebrate Pest Management:
An awareness programme on protection of crops from monkey menace and wild boar problem was conducted in collaboration with scientists from AICRP–Vertebrate Pest Management (VPM), Hyderabad. As part of the programme, two solar fencing units and six battery-operated sprayers were distributed to farmers at Rayapadu Village Allapally Mandal, Seethampeta Banjara Village, and Sujathanagar Mandals of Bhadradri Kothagudem District
3.Visit to Model Demonstration Farms on Natural Farming:
Scientists visited and interacted with farmers along with ADA (Technical) at model demonstration farms on Natural Farming at Hemachandrapuram Village Laxmidevipally Mandal, Seethampeta Banjara Village, and Sujathanagar Mandals of Bhadradri Kothagudem District.
4.Field Visit on Sunflower Crop (Oilseeds):
Field visits were conducted to sunflower crops where seeds were distributed by KVK under the Cluster Frontline Demonstration (Oilseeds) programme at Rayapadu Village, Allapally Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District. In all the above programmes, RAWEP students and farmers actively participated, gaining practical exposure and technical knowledge.
