KVK Kampasagar has organised “ 1st round of 5 days Training to Krishi Sakhis on Natural Farming under NMNF 2025-26” from 27.01.2026 to 31.01.2026.

A Training Programme on “Natural Farming” under National Mission on Natural Farming Project 2025-26 was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kampasagar in collaboration with Department of Agriculture, Nalgonda for 5 days from 27.01.2026 to 31.01.2026 at KrishiVigyan Kendra, Kampasagar, Thripuraram mandal Nalgonda district. The training was inaugurated on 27.01.2026 with a welcome address and Lighting of Lamp. Sri. Sravan kumar District Agriculture officer, Nalgonda acted as chief guest and he highlighted the importance of Natural farming for Sustainable agriculture. Dr. K. Chandrashaker, Programme coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar acted as chairperson for the programme and he highlighted the key issues of Natural farming for Sustainable agriculture, the vital role of Krishi Sakhis in its promotion and the role of Krishi Sakhis in advisory services and action planning. Dr. N. Lingaiah, Pricipal Scientist and Head, ARS, Kampasagar explained about principles of Natural Farming. Sri Anji Reddy, Progressive farmer, Nalgonda shared his experience in Natural farming. The inaugural session was concluded with formal vote of thanks. The technical session of the programme on first day (27.01.2026) was explained by Dr. K. Chandrashaker, SMS(Crop Production) on Key aspects of Natural farming and soil health management. On second day (28.01.2026) Smt. A. Ramulamma SMS (Plant Protection) KVK, Kampasagar was explained about Role of Krishi Sakhis in National Mission on Natural Farming Project and Pest Management techniques in Natural Farming. On third day (29.01.2026) Dr. T. Bharath kumar, SMS(Crop Production) , KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem participated as resource person and delivered the lecture on Integrated farming system. A practical session on Bio inputs preparation was taken by N. Somaiah, Farmer master trainer, Neelaigudem. On fourth day (30.01.2026) Dr. Lavakumar, Retd. Scientist, delivered the lecture on preparation of Bio fertilizers and its role in Natural Farming. A practical session on Bio inputs preparation was taken by V. Anjaneyulu, Organic farmer, Marrigudem. On 5th day (31.01.2026) Conducted a Field visit to Anjasri Natural Farm in Charlapalli village. The host farmer V. Anjireddy shared his journey and experience to trainees and explained about his marketing strategy of natural farm produce. Conducted valedictory session and distributed training manuals to the participants. In this programme, Sri. Sravan kumar District Agriculture officer, Nalgonda, Dr. N. Lingaiah, Pricipal Scientist and Head, ARS, Kampasagar, Dr. K. Chandrashaker, Programme coordinator, Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) Smt. T. Himabindu, SMS (Horticulture), and 30 no. of Krishi Sakhis, MAOs and AEOs of Natural farming clusters, were participated.
