Field day programme on "Quality Seed for every village" KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem on 17.10.2025

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem organized two Field Days on Paddy varieties WGL-44 and WGL-1537 at Ammavaripalli (V), Aswapuram (M) and Morrampalli banjara (V), Burgampahad (M) under PJTAU Flagship Programme on “Quality Seed for Every Village.” on 17.10.2025.Dr. T. Bharath, Programme Coordinator briefed the farmers about the importance of quality seed production and highlighted the distinct characteristics and advantages of paddy varieties WGL-44 and WGL-1537. He emphasized that farmers should produce and supply quality seed to fellow farmers to promote self-sufficiency in seed availability at the village level. Farmers expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the “Quality Seed for Every Village” programme and appreciated the efforts of KVK in promoting improved varieties. In this programme, Dr. N. Hema Sarat Chandra, SMS (Extension), Agricultural Officer (AO), Agricultural Extension Officer (AEO), and about 20 farmers participated. After the awareness session, participants visited the demonstration fields to observe the crop performance in farmers’ fields.
