Conducted a Diagnostic field visit to Paddy fields on 22.04.2025 at KVK, Palem

KVK, Palem conducted a Diagnostic field visit to Paddy fields at Chandubatla Village, Nagarkurnool mandal & District on 22.04.2025. The crop was at maturity stage and crop was already completed 120 days duration. The incidence of blast, stem borer and BPH was observed in 5 to 10 % incidence. Further severe incidence of neck blast was observed (60-70%) and 70 % of the panicles were dried and the grains in panicles are partially filled. The team explained the Integrated Pest & Disease Management practices in paddy. In this visit Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, PC, KVK, Palem,Dr. B. Rajashekhar, SMS (Extension), KVK, Palem, Sri. B. Purna Chandra Reddy, ADA, Nagarkurnool, Sri. Ch. Raju, MAO, Nagarkurnool, Smt. Jayasree, AEO, Chnadubatla, Sri. K. Srinivasa Reddy and K.Neelamma, Farmers, Chandubatla and 6 farmers were participated.
