Method Demonstration of Trichoderma viridae for soil and seed treatment on 13.11.2025 & 15.11.2025 by TRVK Siddipet

TRVK, Siddipet conducted method demonstration of Trichoderma viridae for soil application in maize field affected by wilt on 13.11.2025 at Gudikandula (V), Thoguta (M). 1-2 kg/ acre of Trichoderma viridae powder is added to 25 kg of FYM, mixed thoroughly and applied to the one acre field where frequent occurrence of wilt in maize. Also conducted method demonstration of Trichoderma viridae of seed treatment in bengal gram at Alirajpet (V), Jagdevpur (M) on 15.11.2025. Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Coordinator & Scientist (CP), briefed about the importance of seed treatment in pulses and demonstrated seed treatment in bengal gram with bio-control agent Trichoderma viride @ 8-10g/kg seed for wilt management and explained about the precautions to be taken while treating the seed (NBeG-776). In this programme, farmers actively participated and their queries were clarified. In this programme 20 farmers were participated.
