Celebrations of National Sports Day at BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla on 29.08.2025

National Sports Day was celebrated at BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla on 29th August to commemorate the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, one of the greatest hockey players in Indian history. Sri L. Raja Assistant Professor and OISA started with welcome speech, The day serves as a tribute to Major Dyan Chand for his legendary achievements and highlights the importance of sports and fitness in daily life. Dr. Razia Sultana, Associate Dean (FAC) paid floral tribute to portrait of Dhyan Chand and inspired the students with a motivational speech on the importance of discipline, hard work, and perseverance in sports and life. National Sports Day Pledge taken by students to install importance of fitness, teamwork, and perseverance. After that recreational games viz thug of war, spoon& ball and volley ball etc. were conducted to students and faculty.
