RARS, Palem celebrated birth anniversary of Smt. Savitribai Phule Jayanthi on 3rd january 2026.

The 195th Birth Anniversary of Smt. Savitribai Phule, India’s first woman teacher and a renowned social reformer, was celebrated with due respect and enthusiasm at the Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS), Palem on 3rd January, 2026. The programme commenced with the garlanding of the portrait of Smt. Savitribai Phule by Dr. A. Padmasri, i/c ADR. Later, all the teaching and non-teaching staff offered floral tributes as a mark of respect and gratitude to Smt. Savitribai Phule. The programme followed by a brief introduction highlighting her invaluable contributions to women’s education, social equality, and empowerment. The teaching, non-teaching and ministerial staff of RARS, Palem were participated in the event.
