As per the instructions issued vide Cir. Memo. No.7194/SC/A1/2025 dated 04.09.2025 of the Registrar, PJTAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, the observance of Birth Anniversary of Sri Kaloji Narayana Rao was celebrated at Agriculture Research Station and TRVK, Mudhole on 09.09.2025. The Teaching staff, non-teaching staff, outsourcing staff were participated in the event. Dr. D. Karthik, Head i/c, of the Agricultural Research Station and TRVK, Mudhole, presided over the program on September 9, 2025, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Kaloji Narayana Rao. He began by inviting all teaching, non-teaching, and outsourcing staff to pay tributes to the esteemed poet. Dr. D. Karthik, paid tributes to Sri. Kaloji Narayana Rao, followed by the teaching and non-teaching staff of ARS, Mudhole. After paying tributes, Dr. D. Karthik delivered a speech about Sri Kaloji Narayana Rao, describing him as the "Praja Kavi" (People's Poet). He highlighted how Kaloji’s writings inspired the Telangana movement and broader social change through their compelling blend of poetry, social critique, and regional pride. Following Dr. D. Karthik’s speech, Sri. A. Dinesh, Scientist (Pl.Br.), ARS, Mudhole, spoke about Sri. Kaloji Narayana Rao’s contributions, emphasizing how his powerful verses inspired widespread participation in movements like the Telangana Armed Struggle (1946–1951) and the agitation for separate Telangana statehood. All the Non Teaching staff has spoken over the occasion and explained about the importance of Sri. Kaloji Narayana Rao and his significant contributions that have inspired many. In his concluding remarks, Dr. D. Karthik, Head In-Charge, underscored the importance of Kaloji Narayana Rao’s courage in challenging unjust systems, from feudalism to authoritarian policies, as an exemplar of fearless resistance. He highlighted Kaloji’s lifelong commitment to social justice, which blended passion with purpose, inspiring dedication to meaningful causes. Dr. D. Karthik emphasized that Kaloji’s legacy encourages simple communication to unite communities and the use of creativity to promote equity and change. He has motivated the participants to achieve the ultimate aim of the University through integrity, dedication and discipline in the campus. With this speech the programme was concluded. Later refreshments were served at the venue to all the participants.
