KVK, Mancherial (Bellampalli) –Celebration of Birth Anniversary of “Acharya Kothapalli Jayashankar Sir” on 6th August, 2025 .

On the occasion of the “Birth Anniversary of Prof. Kothapalli Jayashankar Sir”, a commemorative event was organized on 06.08.2025 at KVK, Bellampalli. The program was held to pay rich tributes to the visionary leader, academician, and ideologue of the Telangana movement.The event began with a floral tribute ceremony, where Dr. M. Prasuna, Programme Coordinator and Head, KVK Bellampalli, garlanded the portrait of Prof. Jayashankar and offered flowers in his memory. A moment of silence was observed as a mark of respect. Dr. M. Prasuna, Programme Coordinator in her address, highlighted the life and contributions of Prof. Jayashankar, describing him as a stalwart of the Telangana movement and a renowned academician who dedicated his life to the upliftment of farmers and rural communities. She emphasized the need for all the staff of the institution to uphold his vision by contributing to the development of agriculture and rural livelihoods. She also noted that the Telangana State Agricultural University was named in his honour, reflecting his invaluable service to the farming community. All the Subject Matter Specialists and Non-teaching staff of institution have participated in the event and offered floral tributes to Prof. Jayashankar Sir.
