Organized 91st Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Professor Jayashankar on 06th August 2025 at Agricultural College, Adilabad.

Agricultural College, Adilabad organized the programme to commemorate the 91st birth anniversary of Professor Jayashankar with great enthusiasm and reverence on 06.08.2025. The program was organized by Dr. G. Manjulatha, Professor (Agro.) & Officer In-charge Student Affairs (OISA) and addressed on Prof. Kothapalli Jayashankar, the ideologue of the Telangana movement, he dedicated entire life on the cause of a separate Telangana which is his breath, focus and goal. All the Teaching and Non-teaching staff and Students paid floral tributes to Prof. Kothapalli Jayashankar. On this occasion, essay writing, painting and elocution competitions were organized for the students. Prizes and certificates were given to the winning students in these competitions by the Associate Dean of the College, Dr. Sridhar Chauhan, Dr. G. Manjulatha and other teaching staff. On this occasion, Associate Dean Dr. Sridhar Chauhan, addressed and encouraged the students to follow the footsteps of Professor Jayashankar, to realize his dreams, and play our role with commitment. He also gave clear direction to the students and inspired them to move forward on the path of progress. The students were mainly informed about the ideas of Professor Jayashankar, his role in the Telangana movement, his efforts for the development of education, and the key role he played in taking the Telangana movement to the people. In this program, Dr. G. Manjulatha, Professor (Agro.) & OISA, Dr. Kasbe Sudhanshu Sudhakar, Asst. Professor (Agro.), Dr. M. Sunil Kumar, Asst. Professor (Hort.), Dr. D. Kumara Swamy, Asst. Professor (AECO), G. Anil Kumar, Asst. Professor (GPBR) among the teaching staff, Dr. Kiran Reddy, Teaching Associate (AEXT), Dr. Jayachandra Reddy, Teaching Associate (SSAC), Dr. Sandhya, Teaching Associate (PATH), and Mrs. Nagamani, Physical Director along with Non-Teaching staff and 1st & 3rd year B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. students actively participated. This programme formally concluded with vote of thanks.
