150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by BJR Agricultural College on 31.10.2025

Students of BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla also participated in the Unity Run conducted by the Police Station, Thangallapalli at 7:00 AM on 31.10.2025 on the occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. It is a matter of great pride that our students secured top positions in the 2K Run:

1. B. Durga Prasadh, 2nd year – 1st place (Cash prize–1000/-) in the Boys category
2. G. Rajesh, 2nd year – 2nd place (Cash prize–500/-) in the Boys category
3. M. Lahari, 3rd year – 2nd place (Cash prize–500/-) in the Girls category

The Associate Dean appreciated the students for their outstanding performance and presented them with mementos as a token of recognition and encouragement. The programme successfully instilled the spirit of national unity and reminded students of the invaluable contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to the nation. In continuation, the NSS Unit of the college observed the 150th Birth Anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on 31st October, 2025 at the college campus with great respect and patriotic spirit. The programme began with NSS Programme Officer, Dr. G. Priyadarshini, addressing the gathering and highlighting the remarkable contributions and inspiring life of Sardar Patel, who played a pivotal role in unifying the nation. The Associate Dean, Dr. K. B. Suneetha Devi then enlightened the students further on Sardar Patel’s leadership, vision and dedication towards national integration. Students actively participated by speaking about the life, values and achievements of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, expressing their admiration and respect. Following the speeches, the Associate Dean, staff and students offered floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Patel. As part of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, all participants took the National Unity Pledge, reaffirming their commitment towards maintaining unity, integrity and security of the nation. The event concluded with the "Run for Unity", where staff and students enthusiastically participated, spreading the message of unity and patriotism.
