Agricultural College, Adilabad has celebrated birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31st October, 2025 on the occasion of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day). Dr. Y. Praveen Kumar, Associate Dean offered floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhai Patel and addressed the gathering on the importance of the day to ensure the safety, security, integrity, and unity of our country under all circumstances, expressed her views about Iron man of India stating that good relationship among the people of the nation is a binding force that brings peace and development and also enable us to unify against various threats of enemies. Later all the Teaching, Non teaching and students (around 50 nos.) paid floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhai Patel. All the faculty, Non teaching & supporting staff and Students took an ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge’ to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation in the spirit of unification of the county. College OISA Dr. G. Manjulatha gave the introduction about Sardar Vallabhai Patel and expressed his views about the importance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. She was emphasized that this year theme of National Unity day is ‘Unity in Diversity’ which emphasizes that the country strength lies in embracing its diverse culture, regions and beliefs.
