Report on the 20th Installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Programme at Rythu Vedika, Mahabubabad on 02.08.2025.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Malyal successfully organized a live telecast event of the 20th installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi at Rythu Vedika, Mahabubabad. The programme was graced virtually by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, who addressed the nation and disbursed the 20th installment of PM-Kisan funds to the beneficiaries. The event was organized with the active involvement of the District Agriculture Officer (DAO), Mandal Agriculture Officer (MAO), and Subject Matter Specialists (SMSs) of KVK, Malyal. The officials explained the objectives and benefits of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to the assembled farmers, ensuring better awareness and transparency of the scheme. On this occasion, DAO, Mahabubabad emphasized the importance of natural farming and encouraged farmers to adopt sustainable practices. Sri B. Kranthikumar, SMS (Crop Production), highlighted the significance of High-Density Planting System (HDPS) in cotton and provided insights on Kharif management practices in rice. Ms. L. Suhasini, SMS (Horticulture), delivered a detailed presentation on Kharif management techniques in turmeric and chilli crops, addressing common issues faced by farmers during the season. MAO, and 2 AEOs of Mahabubabad district, and a total of 124 farmers, including 95 male and 29 female from various villages across Mahabubabad district were participated in this programme.
